Dosage :
- Intramuscular injection : 3 mg/kg (6 ml/500 kg horse) by intramuscular injection on four occasions with an interval of 5-7 days between injections.
- Intra-articular : 1 ml by intra-articular injection. This can be repeated at weekly intervals for 3 to 4 treatments. More than one joint can be treated at the same time.
The horse should be rested for two weeks after the last injection, followed by an additional two weeks of gradual gait exercise before returning to work.
