How to use and dosage:
For cows:
- Respiratory and gastrointestinal infections and secondary bacterial infections:
- 2.5 ml per 100 kg body weight, once daily subcutaneously for 3 days.
- The dose may be increased to 5 ml per 100 kg for 5 days in cases of salmonella or complicated respiratory diseases.
- Do not inject more than 10 ml at one site.
- To treat acute mastitis caused by E.coli:
- 5 ml per 100 kg by slow intravenous injection daily for two days.
For cats and dogs:
- 0.25 ml per 5 kg of body weight daily for 5 days by injection.
Withdrawal periods:
- For cows (subcutaneous injection):
- Meat and offal: 10 days
- Milk: 84 hours (7 milks)
- For cows (intravenous injection):
- Meat and offal: 4 days
- Milk: 72 hours (6 milks)
