Composition:
- Sodium hyaluronate 1 gram
- Sufficient quantity of 100 ml
Dosage:
- The recommended intra-articular dose in horses is (2 ml per joint), and up to 4 ml can be applied in large joints.
- In severe cases: treatment is usually sufficient and the application can be repeated after (7 or 14 days).
- It is recommended that the horse be kept in a state of athletic rest for two days after the intra-articular injection or that work on it be very limited.
- If necessary , "Hyalurone" can be combined with intra-articular corticosteroids in the same injection.
- Intravenously: The recommended dose of "Hyalurone" is (4 ml) in one weekly injection.
- In chronic or severe cases , it is recommended to apply this dose for 4 or 5 weeks, or for as long as the veterinarian deems appropriate.
