Metalgin is a highly effective veterinary analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory used as an adjunct therapy in cases of inflammation and acute pain in horses, dogs, and cats. It is an effective option in cases of equine colic and treatment of equine joints when used in conjunction with other veterinary drugs.
Composition
Each 1 ml of Metalgin contains:
Dipyrone (metamizole): 500 mg/ml
Excipients:
Methylparaben – Propylparaben – Propylene Glycol – Sodium Metabisulfite – Water for Injection.

Dosage and method of use
For large sheep, 5 cm
Middle 3 cm
Lambs 2 cm muscle
Large camels 20 cm
Middle 15 cm
Small 5-10 cm
Large horses 20 cm
Middle 15 cm
Foals: 5-10 cm intramuscular or intravenous injection
The dose is given 2 to 3 times daily.
For no more than two days, or as directed by the veterinarian.
