If you're looking for an effective product that efficiently protects your animals' health, Terramycin Veterinary is the perfect choice. It's designed to provide long-lasting protection against bacterial infections and keep your animals performing at their best.
Benefits of veterinary terramycin:
1. Effective and long-lasting treatment: A single dose works to combat bacterial infections for a long time without the need to repeat the dose daily.
2. Broad spectrum: Eliminates a wide range of bacteria that infect the respiratory, digestive, and urinary systems.
3. Convenience and ease of use: Thanks to its long-acting properties, it reduces the need for frequent doses, making daily care easier.
4. Supporting herd health: It improves animal health and protects them from common diseases that may affect their performance and production.
Target animals:
cows, sheep and goats
Composition:
Terramycin solution for injection is a formulation containing 200 mg of oxytetracycline per ml.
How to use it:
- It is not injected intravenously.
- For intramuscular injection at a single dose rate of 1 ml/10 kg of live body weight for cattle, sheep, and goats.
- Subcutaneous administration has the same effect as intramuscular administration, but swelling may occur at the injection site. However, a repeat treatment can be given 72 hours after the initial injection if necessary, particularly in cases of conjunctivitis (infectious bovine keratoconjunctivitis).
Dosage:
- Cattle: 1 ml/10 kg of body weight. Intramuscular injections should be administered deep into the muscle tissue. To minimize local tissue irritation, no more than 10 ml should be injected at any single site.
- Sheep and goats: Administer 1 ml/10 kg of body weight by intramuscular injection at a single site. In sheep and goats weighing over 50 kg, it is recommended to split the dose and administer it at two injection sites.
